Re: Problems in the Food Chain.

Hi

In my little part of Shropshire, say a 20 mile radius, we are huge food producers.

We have Mueller's, two plants producing vast amounts of milk and yogurts.

We have the highest concentration of chicken and egg producers in the UK.

We have two huge slaughter houses and meat packing plants.

The one within walking distance of me produces 2 million packs of meat a week for the supermarkets.

We have Palethorpes, huge numbers of pork products.

They are advertising like mad but still cannot get the staff.

We do need Government action to sort this.

We have loads of unemployed now, but they are not in the right place.

Time to sort it out.

Hi

We need to protect people.

Those with more dogs than they need are causing deaths to others.

Getting food to humans is far more important than getting food to dogs.

That is an unrealistic statement, Swimmy, how exactly are dogs causing anyone's deaths?

And who has the right to say how many dogs/cats one can have?

I bet more of them are saving lives by being companions to those in isolation.

They are not depriving people of food - supermarkets are full again now - and it wasn't our pets who were doing the greedy panic buying!!

Absolutely Tabs. What a load of old cobblers.

I have never heard of any dogs panic buying shed loads of toilet rolls, bread, pasta, tinned food or frozen veg.

Perhaps the dogs in Shropshire are more advanced though . . .

So you'd gladly sit there stuffing your face and leave your dog with nothing, would you?
That tells me a lot about someone.
