Flight alert - incredibly dangerous

I've just seen the world flight radar and I'm extremely shocked at the amount of planes still taking off and landing all over the world, America is the worst but Europe is heavily flight trafficked too.

Why are they allowing this?

Who knows who has the virus on those planes bringing it into other parts of the world and into our countries.

I can't believe what I have just witnessed.

If the world governments don't do something about flights this pandemic is just going to get worse and wipe more people out.

You can view the world flight radar on the above link, be prepared to be shocked

Hundreds of flights need grounding!

Scary isn't it, especially if you zoom in to places like Kennedy airport. I used to enjoy working out which plane was going over the house and where it had come from.

LQ some flights are necessary to carry freight including vital medication.

One of my meds is manufactured in the USA, I hope they don't stop it being imported...

I get that Meg but I am sure all those flights aren't carrying Meds. If they were all freight flights that wouldn't be a problem but I'm sure some will be domestic flights.

Hi

Some are charter flights bringing people home.

Most are freight, loads of them bringing in essential supplies.

Here in the UK we cannot make our own PPE for the NHS.

We have to import it.

Yes, Swimmy I agree. None in this area as our airport closed.

Hi

We are short of some of the chemicals to do the tests we desperately need to help NHS Staff.

We are short of ventilators, Dyson are not making them here.

We are short of the circuit boards needed for the electronics to manufacture them.

The list is endless and we are playing catchup.

This just highlights the problems when you farm out industry and manufacturing to other countries. It's time we started doing more stuff 'In House' providing jobs and prosperity for our own countrymen. We have lost some very valuable skills.
One of the reasons I voted Brexit Swim.
