Re: Your Christmas Tree

My Dad was a builder for the local council. One year his team had the job of erecting the Christmas tree in the village High Street
They trimmed some of the lower branches off so there was enough of a bare trunk showing to put in the ground
The lower branches were quite large, so they each took one home as their Christmas tree
But though a Christmas tree/fir tree is conical, the branches are flat. It looked a bit odd at first, but by the time we had decorated it, it looked OK

Love Noms tree so colourful....little bit more work needed there Solo lol hahahaha is that the minimalist look ?
This is one of my tree last year which would be the same this year if I could go to all that trouble of getting it down and decorating it ...which I cant atm. Its a twig tree and was really pretty .
