Thanks Mags ,I decided last year to go for a twig tree and wasnt disappointed. I just love the whole fairy lights thing about xmas and to me it wouldnt be xmas at all without lights up . I havnt been able to get my tree up but ive managed to have two sets of lights arranged in my lounge,I have some around the ceiling and another set in a big vase on my coffee table.
I only have a small tree that I can put up on a cabinet, but I still put lights on it.
I daren't have a floor standing tree because naughty Nellie wouldn't be able to keep her grubby paws off it. She'd want to open any parcels and think the baubles were balls for her toybox.
I swear when she's in bed, she writes her "To Do" list for the next day.
Did anyone hear my screams today?
I got my Christmas tree out of my garage as l'm not bothering with a real tree this year!
It has been in the garage for about three years with the branches in bags. I brought them into the house and started fixing the branches to the stem. I turned to get some more out of the bag and noticed something 'weird' on the settee where the bags were.
On closer inspection, l saw it was a dead mouse! Oh how l screamed and ran out of the room! I hate mice dead and alive!
Anyway, here's my decorated tree...
