Being completely objective about this, it really did send out an awful message. I'm not quite sure where you are seeing it as being one for the leavers. The general opinion was that he got cold feet and ran.

If anything it's extremely embarrassing
Welcom AP! One thing you dont mention is that this was
supposed to be a press conference, this infers that only
press reps will be present and that appropiate facilities be
available for them? As has been the case in all previous
press conferences l have seen
In none of them have members of the general public been
allowed anywhere near the participants and only press reps
get to ask questions in a controlled manner?
That none of the above was apparent points to either gross
negligence or grossly insulting???
The venue should have been sited indoors where control
could have been exercised over any crowd problems!
It was designed to show Boris in the same light as eu has
become accustumed to seeing Theresa May!!!

Ah no I totally agree. You'll see in a previous post I regarded it as amateur. There were games at play for sure, but what's new in this whole Brexit soap opera

Sorry I should have clarified that I was agreeing regarding the sound and set up. There should have been a plan B. Sorry, I'm trying to roast a chicken here and keep up.

I think avoiding the hecklers was an over reaction, so my view point hasn't changed regarding that.

I thought it was too good to be true AP
So you think the incompetence of luxemborg was just
incompetence and not malice?
Not good for a country composed of dealer wheelers and
office managers is it?
Could the eu be from the same mould??

Hard to call really, but we don't have enough information to build a strong opinion on. It may or may not have been malice, but politicians get heckled everywhere. The no show was an over reaction and gave off all the wrong signals. Just my opinion.

You did voice your opinion that the press arrangements were
at best amartuerish, Aido Potato?( May l call you Spud or
Murphy from now on in the interest of efficiency?)
Now that opinion implies incompetency?
You never answered my question regarding this??

Re: Boris refuses to appear outside with the PM of Luxembourg

Boris was very wise to walk away.
He didn't go to Luxembourg to see that Pipsqueak. He was there to meet Jean-Claude Juncker. He only included Pipsqueak for a visit out of courtesy.

Who in their right mind would allow a mob of rent-a-gobs to congregate right in front of where Boris was meant to stand at the lecturn.

This was a complete set-up. This little pygmy of a man, was doing exactly the same as they did to Theresa May. Attempting to embarrass and humiliate the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He failed miserably because Boris sussed what he was up to, the moment Pipsqueak refused Boris's request to hold the speeches inside the building so they could be heard.

Pipsqueak obviously expected a pat on the back plus applause at the ''office'' the next day, but unfortunately for him, it rightly came back to bite him on the backside,

One good thing about his debacle. It will undoubtedly have brought even more support for Boris and Brexit.

But not in the EU, and that is where he so desperately wants to close a deal (he says). Or is your opinion boris is lying?
