So what does this mean for Scotland?..Don't you have your own parliament?..Does London override it?..Serious question, not rhetorical. I would like to know.

The verdict upheld was that it was unlawful, which I agree with. Nothing was mentioned about it being illegal.

Shameful copy and paste moment:

Black's Law Dictionary defines unlawful as "not authorized by law, illegal." Illegal is defined as "forbidden by law, unlawful." Semantically, there is a slight difference. It seems that something illegal is expressly proscribed by statute, and something unlawful is just not expressly authorized.

We have a ,very expensive, mickey mouse parliament (not really, it's just an assembly but they didn't like being called that) to which some things are devolved but fortunately Westminster has overall control, thank God.

Scotland played a major role in this. I would be proud a punch if I were Scottish. I'm Irish though, so it's close enough. The Scots got the ball rolling

hank goodness Scotland didn't get their independence. Just think not only a backstop (or not) for ireland but one for Scotland as well.

I can just imagine border crossings with checkpoints from England to Scotland

Indeed, it's very embarrassing.

You worry me Sunshine! You should be a bit more positive. The chip on your shoulder has turned into a bit of a plank, it doesn’t have to be this way. Relax, marching season is over, get out into the country, breath, believe in yourself and your country, all things are possible. Be happy 😃

No need for a border if you're both members of the EU. Free movement of work, persons, goods and sounds, remember? Scotland wants to be a member on it's own, UKminor can be a member too.
