Trump law firm withdraws from Pennsylvania case challenging election

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...-election-case

The Ohio-based Porter Wright Morris & Arthur firm, which brought a suit on Monday alleging that the use of mail-in ballots had created “an illegal two-tiered voting system” in the state, abruptly withdrew from that case in a memo to the court.

Unlike most lawsuits brought by the Trump campaign, which targeted small pools of votes whose exclusion would not change the election result, the Porter Wright suit challenged nearly 2.65m votes that were cast by mail, the majority by Democrats.

It accused the secretary of the commonwealth, Kathy Boockvar, of “arbitrary and illegal actions” and sought an emergency order prohibiting the certification of the Pennsylvania election result.

With that lawsuit stalled, certification in Pennsylvania – and the formal election of Joe Biden as president – drew a step closer. By law the state’s result must be certified by 23 November.
Nearly all of these time-wasting Trump lawsuits are going nowhere - the only victories are a few hundred votes here, a few hundred votes there, which have no effect whatsoever on the result of the election - time after time, Trump's lawyers fail to offer any evidence of election irregularities .....

What makes you think that?

Those refusing to accept the result of our referendum - even following a confirmatory General Election - haven't stopped the fiasco of behaviour regarding Brexit.

Maybe that farcical behaviour will stop soon too?

The Pennsylvania Secretary of State, just announced he would NOT be ordering a recount.

Many high ranking REPUBLICAN senators and congressmen are now calling Joe Biden to congratulate him on his win.

Trump may not be willing to concede, but the fat lady has sung.

To be fair he did say in his Covid address today "whatever administration takes this forward" an admission that it might no longer be him. He looked a broken man. I felt sorry for him tbh.

There is always a place for compassion for a fellow Human Being whatever, provided they never assaulted you personally.
