Hi

I have an amazing crop of bright red berries on mine this year.

Anyone else having the same?

Re: Holly Berries

Mine has less this year than last it's a variegated type and never seems to have a huge amount of berries.
Much prefer the green ones.

Re: Holly Berries

The Holly in my garden grew itself and has now been removed ... phew.

Never had berries so I assume it was male.

A few years ago, the house a couple of doors away had a Holly tree in the back garden ... no berries either as far as I know .... hmmmmm

Sherlock Holmes anywhere ? It's a mystery

Re: Holly Berries

Ive never been successful growing Holly Trees , perhaps because i had heavy clay soil , after no growth after several years I lifted them and they had not grown out of the shape of the pot .
I like to see Holly trees covered in berries , it would be nice to see a photo of your tree Swim.

Re: Holly Berries

Noticed when I went to my Elder Daughter's last Sunday the bushes around the village had a lot of berries. People used to say that it was going to be a hard winter.
