Drinking.

I haven't had alcohol for over a year really but I bought myself a bottle of white and a bottle of red.
The white is a local wine and is absolutely lovely and I've suddenly realised how much I have missed drinking.

This weekend my son and dil are coming over and are going to take me to a place in town that my son loves to go to whenever they come over.
It's called The Beer House and it has lots of really different types of beer. About twenty Last time we went. Last time they took me I tried a beer that smelt like vinegar but although it was a little sour, to drink was really nice. Totally different than the normal beers.

Do you enjoy beers or wine.

Re: Drinking.

MC enjoy your outing .

I used to love wine but can no longer drink alcohol because it
doesn't go well with my medication.

Re: Drinking.

I hardly ever drink MC, maybe at Christmas but that's not because I don't like it, more that I never think of buying it. I do like the unusual beers and went through a stage of trying all the Belgian fruit beers which are very nice.

Re: Drinking.

I love wine, we brew our own. It has to be white as Red gives me a bad headache. Sauvignon Blanc is my favourite.

I used to be a big cider drinker back i' day, loved it but I daren't drink it now, it makes ya fat.

Re: Drinking.

Yes, I’m into bottled beers, have a couple on a Saturday at home, don’t mind wine, but rarely drink it,

Re: Drinking.

I like a little wine with a meal but l wouldn’t drink a lot as l’d probably get a headache and be sick. I bought some Chablis recently and it was lovely.

I like champagne too but not beer or lager. I haven’t had any spirits for a long time but l used to like a nice cognac.

Hi Muffin - Do you mix it with anything or drink it straight?
