Pauline, Of course, it wouldn’t bother me. People aren’t obliged to post birthday wishes. I hide mine anyway!
It might bother me if it was my family and they didn’t say, Happy Birthday!

I sometimes don’t see the message that it’s somebody’s birthday until later in the day, then I’m not sure weather or not to wish them birthday wishes as the days almost over

If someone started the thread but no one wished me a happy birthday after that then yes, I would be a bit upset, not that I would go and cry my eyes out of course but I would wonder whether it was worth staying or not.

Am I the only one who thinks that way? or am I the only one being truthful?

I love birthdays - and I love seeing the messages in here - it's fun. If no-one started a 'birthday' thread it would be disappointing but not upsetting. If someone started a thread and no-one post on it - that would be upsetting.
