New Plants.

Hi

The project continues.

An inherited garden with too much of the same things in it.

Overgrown and boring.

I am fortunate in that we have a brilliant Market, two Nurseries who supply the Garden Centres.

Yesterdays haul.

Twenty Plants at £1 each.

Dobies are selling some of them at £6.99 each.

Hi

Thanks for that Barry.

The advantages of living in Rural Shropshire.

Shrewsbury Market on Sundays, Market Drayton on Wednesdays.

Next week is climbers, Clematis, Honeysuckle etc.

They are being sold at £2 each, all at least I metre tall, 6 for £10.

Veg plants are coming to the end, so a tray of 6 is a £1, 12 for £10, spend £20 and get get another ten trays free.

The Garden Centres and Supermarkets pay peanuts for them.

They would only be chucked away, so we all get the benefit of them.

Re: New Plants.

I like rummaging round places like that Swims.
Trouble is, I can never come home empty handed even though I've got too many plants as it is.

Re: New Plants.

Nice selection there Swimfeeders and they look like they are perenials - a bargain at £1 each. I have to stop myself going to garden centres - I just can't resist getting stuff and our garden is just about full up now.

They are all perennials, that is the bargain.

Re: New Plants.

That sounds wonderful Swims!
I love a bargain. Our local garden centre is changing hands so they had loads of plants and shrubs today for £1 or 50p each. I seem to have acquired a few!
