Borderline means she is in early stages so hopefully controlled with diet and perhaps something like Metformin. Diet will be be important as we are all different so finding the foods that dont push your blood sugar too high will be a case of trial and error. Hopefully she will be monitored at your local health center.Re: Diabetes.
Tell her not to worry and just carry on eating as normal.Re: Diabetes.
Alan I guess that is type 2 diabetes ?Re: Diabetes.
Hi Alan, yes Sheila can eat eggs no problem, the most important thing is eat plenty of fish, lean white meat, vegetables, watch out for some of the fruits, apple and pears are ok, but banana is a no go, and cut down on carbs, such as potatoes, pasta, rice.Re: Diabetes.
Good link, Susie. This one goes straight to the LCHF diet which so many swear by and is worth investigating. My dil has lost well over four stone this year and is full of energy, it has made such a difference to her glucose levels to the extent that the doctor was telling her to eat more. Trouble is, she feels so much healthier having kicked the carbs that she is happy as she is.Re: Diabetes.
