I screamed out last night!
I screamed out to God last night
If you are there then do some right
Got no answer or result
What is this omnipresent cult?
Just want answers not mumbling prayers
Want some justice from one who cares
I screamed out to God last night
Looks like angelic wings took flight
We built edifices for you
Soaring spires that pierce the view
Singing psalms and mumbling prayers
Is there no one there who cares?
Shouted to Allah the great
Can he heal this broken place
All I see is Islamic wars
No healing there just open sores
Yelled out to Yahweh the great
Fix the pains I just can’t wait
But Yahweh started wars way back
And now his holy land’s on track!
Oh great Buddha hear my plea
Just sit cross legged mind empty
Let the pain and sorrow go
Just let it go real slow; real slow
Perhaps answers are all the same
When I call out in joy or pain
Echoes, reflections of my mind
I can fix it; just need some time

thanks RJ - you are indeed courteous to a lowly humble ozzie!a lot of my 'scribblings' are taken from real life as you know - I actually screamed at God last night but I think his telephone exchange is on the blink! God that echo was effing deafening!!

His Holiness the Dali
Was on holiday in Rome
And thought he would look up his good mate
The Holy See of Rome
He called upon good Francis
To arrange a cup of tea
But Francis said not possible
Bit embarrassing you see
Right now I’m courting commies
Across the China Sea
To be hobnobbing with the Buddha
Would spoil me Chinese tea!
Oh alright said the Holy Buddha
Can’t upset the commie turds
I’ll just mingle with the peace winners
Cos they're salt of the earth!

thanks believe me I had to calm down before I could write that. I thought this Pope was bringing so much significant change to the Catholic church and indeed the world - this time he has IMO blotted his copy book big time - I'm stickin with the Dali much more insightful and passionate man14-12-2014, 10:42 AM
