When Gracie named my car Jeremy the Jazz it seemed appropriate but after we broke down twice over the bank holiday weekend she decided he needs a new name and started calling him puff, strange name I thought then she told us he was puff the tragic wagon and it all made sense
So puff the tragic wagon he is.
Took us six hours to get from Brighton to Woking, not the best journey, then broke down again when I popped out last night to take Nathan to work.
He's in disgrace and in the garage today. Should have him back later in the week.

My first car was a primrose Ford Popular 196 XVX.It was stolen a short time after I bought it for £70 in 1970
It put me off of the car after being stolen so I sold it on for £60 to a very short man who drove it off sat on a pile of cushions

I feared for the safety of him and other road users after he drove off wearing gloves, scarf & thick pebble glasses, plus a cap pulled down his forehead, all the time peering over the dashboard.
My replacement motor car an A40 broke down on the main road the next week and my old car, the Ford Popular, went sailing past serenely.
I stuck out my thumb, but Andy Capp pretended not to see me, I reckon.
