I just annoyed myself!
Sat down for a rest and a drink of juice and managed to knock the tumbler off the table onto my leg. Soaked myself, the throw, two cushions and the sofa.

I was thinking I'd leave the washing until tomorrow, knowing I had to put the rotary line up as I moved it for the greenhouse.

I have to have my back door open as my washer and dryer are in the back porch (no door on it) so I have to use an extention lead. So no nap now either, in case someone walks in!

The R.A.F.!

They are practicing low level night flying and the noise is horrendous. I appreciate they have to learn but wish they would do it elsewhere!

That reminds me of The Dambusters when they were practising their ultra-low level flying over a loch in Scotland, much to the chagrin and ire of the locals!

Mind you, unlike your situation, they were in the middle of a war!

Those Lancasters don't half make a noise! A couple of years ago I stood next to one that was about to taxi down the runway - and the ground was vibrating! It was quite overwhelming.

Yebbut,the pigeons and geese,etc,they bash out of the air can feed a children's home,Tabby. One particular 'unwanteds' home I was placed in was called ''Bombers Cottage''. It was in Sussex,waaaay out in the nowhere,to the south of Battle-and it was so called because it was on the edge of an old airfield,where Lancasters and Hurricanes were kept. Noisy,yes-but the kids & staff didn't go short of fresh avian meat,Hon.

Now-[sorry]-thing that annoy me...

I like 'The Chase'. It's informational,as well as being a good 'tickover' for one's brain when one runs out of crossword puzzles and/or quizbooks. [which I often do]
BUT....is it REALLY necessary for the Chaser to make a 'Grand Entrance',every bloody time? The fanfare,the bright red lights,the flamboyant entrance?? For me,it just detracts from the continuity. Meh.

There is an answer to that darlin' - acquire a SAM 6 missile launcher and place it prominently in your garden !!!
