I suspect that it's a fashion statement.
Someone who doesn't really need glasses, but wants to look more intelligent than perhaps they are!

Haha! There is nothing stylish about having glasses on your head. I do this too - only because if I put them down, I lose them.

The usual old phone scammers.

I've had THREE silent calls this morning, all from different numbers, none of which I recognise. Grrrr..

Only THREE, you are lucky it's that few! I was having so many of these that I decided to give the landline over to the scammers. They can have it as all they get now is the answerphone and a recorded message. Now my main phone is my mobile, I still get the odd scam call on that but it's easier to block numbers, on the landline that was not possible. I still get scam calls on the landline but they've mostly given up. It's probably considered a 'dead' number as they never get any answer, other than the answerphone.
