The song I sing is generally directed at other drivers who drive like they are participating in a NASCAR race. I don't know about over there, but there are some damn fools driving on American roads.

I saw something this morning that made me smile.

You know how sometimes you hear youngsters going past, car windows open, music blaring enough to break the sound barrier?

Well I was waiting at traffic lights this morning, when I heard the usual din approaching from behind me.
It took longer than usual to get close, then I saw why.

It was an elderly chap on his mobility scooter poddling along the pavement with his Christmas hat on, and his jolly songs playing ear splittingly loud.
At least he seemed happy and good luck to him.

Although I never run to music and never will, but if I did, this would be a song that I would choose. And it's just as good to drive to....

At this time of year it's always Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea and also Last Christmas by Wham Too many others to list but always Christmassy songs.

Mate they are everywhere on the planet. But I have to say I found drivers in the US and Britain mostly very good. Australia not so good and Italy the worst by a country mile. I hear Bangkok is the worst in the world. You would want't to sing "Save Me!" or "Say a Little Prayer" in those places.
