MSWorks database to Access?

Anybody know if there is a way of transferring a MS works database to the "Office" equivalent database?

Re: MSWorks database to Access?

Just as a thought.

From memory I think Works databases were two dimensional only so you might be better just converting it to an Excel spreadsheet.

Access's main advantage/purpose is as a relational database but if you are not using that facility then Excel might be all you need. It just depends on what and how you intend to use your database but I thought I might mention it and, again from memory, Works itself will convert it's database into a spreadsheet simply and easily.

Problem solved! Thanks for the help. Saved to Excell successfully with just some adjustments to column widths.
