IIRC, Prince William visited his great-grandmother's grave in 2018.
In the latest documentary we learn that her aunt, Elizabeth (Bella), a Russian duchess, renowned herself for helping the poor (and a model for Alice), who lies beside her niece, was murdered by the Bolsheviks by being thrown down a well, then, while she was still alive and praying, they dropped stones on her before finally throwing in a had grenade .....
