Monday good morning

Good morning all, cooler here this morning but no frost, maybe wintry showers later.

Nothing planned yet just the usual Monday chores and I'll be making spiced carrot and parsnip soup for lunch.

Cold overcast and a strong wind forecast today.

Lodgers up and gone, black wheelie bin out.

A party atmosphere in town last night with the football result against Liverpool.

Good Morning, Swimmy, and all who follow.

Cold and crispy here today. Enjoyed my early walk through the little bit of woodland - listening to the birds, and the sound of the river Foss in the distance. Very peaceful - but invigorating.

Monday is housework day - rearranging the dust, walking the Shark - that sort of thing - necessary but boring!

Also - as it is 'payday' tomorrow - it is time to do the household accounts - even more boring!

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all!

It is tipping down with rain. The forecast is for a largely dry morning with some bright or sunny spells? There is an increasing risk of showers throughout the afternoon, with more persistent rain possible towards evening? Weather forecasts sometimes are as much use as a chocolate teapot! Maximum temperature 8ºC.

No chance of doing anything outside and the car definitely will not be cleaned!

Good morning all a brighter day, the sun is beginning to rise above the rooftops.

This time 47 years ago it was a beautiful sunny day, our wedding day. We flew off to Jersey straight after.
How time flies!

I'm not over my bout of laryngitis yet though my voice is on the way back thank goodness.

Hubby not well so not venturing far.
