Just heard on the morning news that Nicholas Parsons has died after a short illness:

That's sad Baz, I grew up watching Nicholas Parsons on the telly, he always turned out smartly dressed and set a good example.....RIP Nicholas....
I always think that as someone you know passes away, we all shuffle up one place higher on the list.....

Yes, that's how I remember him too OGF. A well-spoken, well-dressed person and always pleasant too. Unlike a lot today I don't ever recall seeing or hearing a bad word about him.
