I am the opposite!A few months ago l opted in for receiving emails re. new responses to threads. Then l was bombarded with emails, so l opted out!
I still get them for the Covid Vaccinations thread that Mags started even though l cancelled the emails!
I don’t mind them though.

I did try to follow Azz's advice on another thread (as indicated above) but I'm afraid I cannot find any means of emailing gmail!In common with many other companies, they don't seem to like to invite people to contact them by email. I could try their telephone line, if I can find a UK number to call.

I just checked in my settings and found that I am not listed as having the option of receiving instant email notifications.
How that happened I can't imagine, as I never go to the settings department. I can only assume it was caused by 'the change-over'!
In fact, it was set at "do not subscribe"!
If others are having the same problem, have a look there.
Well done Arty, takes a woman to sort out these things, eh?
