That's how they work, ask Neil Kinnock.

I'm sure he will. He's no Iron Lady is he?

"Let's face it, we were a net contributor to the European Union. We gave them billions and billions and billions more than we took out."

"If I was the Prime Minister, I would say 'stuff it, you don't deserve anything'.
The divorce bill covers infrastructure spending agreed during Britain’s time as an EU member, as well as pensions for the bloc’s officials.

Infrastructure which we no longer have any access to, so why should we pay any more than we already have. In fact, we should received a partial refund.

Pensions for people who are no longer working for us - in fact, to be honest, they never have worked for us. They have (and presumably still are) worked for the EU, not us.

If Boris has previously agreed to these payments, he deserves sacking.
If he has not previously agreed to them, he should tell them to sod off.

Clearly different rules apply to certain member states.

Jane Adye, director of the grass-roots pro-Brexit campaign group Get Britain Out, contrasted the EU’s treatment of Britain with that of Germany.

The German car industry saw £1billion in fines waived by the European Commission earlier this week.

Hi

Forget May, a has been and good riddance.

Boris took control, said we had all the cards and he had an oven ready Brexit.
He altered the deal and we have ended up where we are.

Indeed he did. He let us down and has lost my vote, and probably that of many others. He's a fool. Either that or corrupt.
