Walking Elsie this evening we saw a couple of squirrels she always gets excited when she sees squirrels and today was no different, one of them took off running the other looked panicked and ran the other way straight towards us. He realised his mistake when he bumped noses with Elsie and she looked just as amazed as I was, jumped back and tried to get up into my arms - squirrel had scared her - try carrying a labrador LOL.
Very funny Julie. Dogs like to make out like they are big brave soldiers but they can be scaredy-cats at heart. I'll bet the dog we used to own would have behaved in a similar way.
I remember when a huge spider hid from us and my Dad upended our large electric organ to find it. Sabre, our alsation/lab scuttled aware in fear! Idiot dog! Lol.
It's warm and they have not yet gone into hibernation .
Plus it's a bumper year for acorns and they are probably working overtime to store their cache for winter.
