If any of you are unsure whether or not you may be eligible for pension credit contact age UK , they have trained volunteers to help you fill out forms and guide you , a rough idea is that you are on a basic state pension and have less than £10,000 in savings you could receive the benefit , if you do have a small pension you will be topped up and even if this is by £1 a week you will have help in paying your council tax and help with dental treatment . Don't be put off by form filing just ask age UK to help you , it's a free service .
