Between 16 and 20 Watts LED should be equivalent to 100 Watts incandescent.
Just google it. The info is out there.

I just wish they'd print it on the packaging.

Wilko has a handy poster, showing the types of fitting, and the letter/number assigned to it.

The one I bought yesterday is a small screw type, and is E14.

Aha, the small Edison thinghy. I find them hard to get here.
Where do you need one of those? Fridge, Microwave Oven?

I agree. We have a box of those sitting in the cupboard. They were sent out by the local council about 10 years ago. Useful if it's too bright and you want to make the room darker.

Theres plenty of good low energy bulbs on the market...those are the early ones

No, as pointed out earlier...my bedside lamp which I busted!
