Re: Where have you visited this summer?

I have been to North Cornwall with my 5 grandchildren and their parents.
My favourite day out and one the children loved too was to 'The Hidden Valley Discovery Park 'a strange house full of puzzles and things like hidden doors, very Alice I Wonderland..

It was a holiday I won't forget we stayed in a lovely farm complex with swimming pools and a spa .

We returned after a morning out to find an air ambulance, 2 ambulances and a police car. A man staying in one of the cottages and using the gym had a heart attack and died . His poor wife was all alone and had to wait for her family to come down from the North to collect her.

It's a shame when things like that happen to spoil things. Must have been terrible for his wife.

LD it does put a cloud over things I felt sorry for the owners of the cottages who are lovely.
We had to explain to the children what all the fuss was about and they watched the helicopter taking off, they go to school with the children of an air ambulance pilot so knew what it was.
