Re: Settling In

Hi

An update.

Paid £192 yesterday for the gas boiler service and capping off the gas cooker.

I have another £436 to pay for the parts to get it up and running again properly.

It is a boiler off job to replace the pressure vessel and valve.

The Honeywell remote is knackered, an additional £164 to replace, but they have advised me to contact Honeywell direct as it is a known fault.

I may get one for free.

There is no Electric Cooker Point, there is however a spare on the Crabtree Consumer unit.

New ones are a £5, old ones like mine are £40.

I have one arriving Monday, got all the bits to put an outlet in, will do everything myself, but need an electrician to connect up.

Getting one is an issue.
