The 27 are united and not breaking rank (for once). Those united in the UK should follow that example.

Re: Whats Next for Brexit ?

Hi

Get real folks.

The EU have done their sums, protecting the Single Market is far more important than Brexit.

They are not budging on that, why should they?

They are the ones with the New Trade Deals, not us.

Brexit could have been so. so good for us.

Our Politicians have messed it up big time.

We have been outmanoeuvred by an aging drunkard.

That does not bode well for the future.

It speaks volumes about our idiotic Politicians.

Best illustrated by the difference between Theresa May and Jacinda Ardern.

The New Zealand PM.

Decisive, incisive and would have scared Merkel and Juncker.

No bodies idiot, an example of what we need, but have not got.

I despair, I really do, we are led by idiots.

What does, 'meaningful' mean?
When does anything parliament do become meaningful?
Is it because the Government are 'Blue Meanies'?
Do they not mean anything else they do?
(ie. they're not to blame for anything, 'cos they don't mean it?)

Confused of Somerset.

Agreed.

To think that Brexit puts us at a "significant disadvantage" is missing the point.

The disadvantage is really being caused by our negotiators.

There are many many advantages to Brexit.

I disagree.

Hard Brexit - seriously damaging politically & economically;
Soft Brexit - pointless (this is the PM's "deal" option);
No Brexit - best.

The EU is not perfect - no-one ever said it was - but remaining in it remains the most sensible of the 3 options.

Why should we remain a member of a failed economic model that we trade less with year on year that costs us about 13 billion quid a year?

The UK is a net gainer - £9bn in, over £100 bn's worth of trade out.

There never was a good economic argument for leaving the EU.
