Re: confection

Thornton's Continental for me .... my husband has bought me a box for Christmas ever since we first started going out together It is something special to us now and I wouldn't have the heart to say to him that I no longer wanted them.

Re: confection

Now that I'm diabetic, can't have 'normal' sweets and chocolates, so will have to make do with a box of Thornton's diabetic selection.

I used to love Terry's Spartan - all hard centres in dark chocolate, but haven't seen them in years.............

Re: confection

I honestly don't like chocolate very much but hubby does. I always get myself Turkish Delight and also Marshmallows as I love both of those.

Re: confection

I'm not that fussy about chocolate and sweets but my son usually buys me a box of Thornton's (can't remember which one) but they're really nice. I also like After Eight Mints, Ferrero Rochet, any fruit cream chocolate, any mint chocolate, any coffee cream chocolate, any caramel choclate .....

Good job I'm not fussed about the stuff

Re: confection

I usually like Cadbury's Dairy Milk but I have discovered Aldi's Choceur chocolate. Usually buy the Milk and White one but last week tried their Almond one. Mmmmmm can't wait to buy another bar. It was jam packed with roasted almonds, much nicer than Cadbury's.

I don't eat sweets very often but when I do I tend to go for Chocolate Limes, Blackcurrent and Liquorice or Wine Gums.

The Australian Soft eating Liquorice is something I always have in the house which I find is good when my tummy feels a bit off.
