Re: confection

Fantales have always been a favourite of mine closely followed by Minties.

The only problem is that I hardly know who the stars on the wrappers are these days.

You will have guessed I like lollies that are chewy

Where Can I Buy Terry's Spartan Chocolates?
Answer

You can buy Terry's Spartan chocolates online from websites such as 'Retonthenet' for about £18.00. The chocolates cannot be found in UK as the company that produced them was bought by Kraft foods in 1993 and the factory was closed down in 2005. However you can get the chocolates in countries like Poland, Sweden, Slovakia and Belgium.

Mind you - if Kraft now own them the chocolate may not taste so good. Happy hunting!

I don't eat a lot of chocolate - but I love this brand:-

I admire what this young man has done - and have sampled his entire range. It is delicious, my favourite being the Honeycomb with sea salt and black pepper.

Re: confection

I do like the Lindt Cognac filled chocolate but the only place to sell it around here is a distant garden centre..

Re: confection

There are so many listed here that are a 'blast from the past' for us and some I've not heard of
I suddenly remembered Toblerone yesterday and Halva, both of which my son and I love.
Wonder if I have time to get them?

The only bit of liqueurs I don't like is the sugar casing

Re: confection

Julie ..i was advised to avoid sugar free sweets...as they make you go to the loo a lot. when i was a youngster..our wee sweetie shop used to sell the sweets cheap if they were going soft...and that's when i like them...soft toffee... oh yum
