Kangaroo is fine - but hard to cook well.Even had dugong as a kid - fabulous - but now a protected species (not then).
Just about anything fro the sea is fine - fish roe, great !
Squid (calamari) equally great - but again, cooking the stuff is tricky.
Lamb's fry (liver) and bacon -good stuff as long as there's heaps of bacon
NO-NOs ?
Like others, tripe - but also yoghurt, avocados, brains, tinned mushy asparagus, cheap coffee, wifey's cooking ........

So you're a fish murderer are you Pummy? Just a days fun is it? What have they ever done to you?
You and your fellow anglers do to fish what cats do to birds, but it's ok to kill as long as you're a human is it?

Yep. I'm a carnivore. I eat what I catch (or give it to others).I do not torture a living creature and leave it suffering for hours or days just for FUN.
I am a human. Humans are natural predators here. Cats are not.
I target no threatened species. I have rendered none extinct.
I observe sound laws about legal sizes and bag-limits.
Laws enacted to protect fish stocks for future generations.
Cats do not share such concerns for their prey.

I'll try most things once.....though I refused goats head in Afghanistan(pre-war) and dog in Seoul.I have to watch my weight nowadays, since my back finally went ping I've had to cut down on the heavy side of my work so I've gone up to 15 stone.
Diet and excercise time me thinks.

BTW - the dictionary definition of "murder" is
" the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another."
So far, I have not encountered any human fish -
although Aussie swimmers at the forthcoming Olympics might make folk think otherwise.
