Ah, yes. Thanks.

This is for A roads and motorways which, I think, are the responsibility of the Highways Agency.

Smaller roads are down to the local councils.

Having said that, in my experience it is the smaller local roads that are the worst, at least around here.

It must be bad in the UK because a Folkestone FB group I belong to published this photo to show how dire things had become on the local roads.

We don't have that problem - you wouldn't even notice a pothole.

Kia seven year warranty. Contrary to what Realist says, Kia are good for something.

Well, that's a good outcome. I can only assume that Kia have more confidence in their cars' quality than do other manufacturers.

Not about pot holds, but they said on Bbc Breakfast earlier, that Councils are going to raise fines for littering to £120, and hoping to catch those who throw litter out of their car windows.

Hi

They can raise fines as much as they want, but they still have to enforce them.

Most litter is dumped at night from takeaways.

Seen any night time Litter Officers?

Could be a case of many a true word spoken in jest JBR - all cars to carry a half hundredweight of cold rolling asphalt in the boot to fix potholes when one is encountered.

I don't know how far I'd trust some motorists I've encountered, but it would certainly repair the pot holes more quickly than our councils will, and I'm not sure that the quality wouldn't be any worse.
