Re: Coronavirus: 'Covidiots' criticised on Tui quarantine flight

In any case, passengers are allocated seats, so should be easily traceable and issued fines and prevented from travelling again. Presumably CCTV is also available (if not, then it should be as a matter of course) to verify their identity.

Seems a pretty easy issue to resolve.

Re: Coronavirus: 'Covidiots' criticised on Tui quarantine flight

Judging from the posts on here, it seems that Zante has become
a hotbed of covid ?
Perhaps it should be removed from the uk list of safe destinations ?From what l hve heard on here it sems to be certain that at least a
dozen passengers per plane will contract covid?!?!

Yes, I agree with this.

I was telling Marge about this earlier today and said that the easiest solution is to avoid 'yob airlines' - we all know which ones they are!

It isn't entirely the fault of those particular airlines; it's just that our yobs tend to use them, especially for going off on their annual 'booze-fest' to Spain and the Spanish islands.

I'm sure that if we choose the airline and destination before we travel, we'll find ourselves with a much more pleasant and safer flight.

The safest airline I have ever travelled on was Saudia on the way to and from Riyadh. Never the slightest trouble there - for obvious reasons!

I thought it ironic that they were advertising today that they have "Covid insurance" whatever that is.

It could be argued that anyone who sets foot on an Aeroplane at the moment, could be verging Moronic, regardless of facial coverings.

Maybe the Pilot and Co-Pilot have their own Airspace.

I endorse that Spitty, what pissed me off though is that our
socialist government is going to pay them £130 to self isolate
now??

I agree Spitty, there's no way I will be travelling to foreign parts anytime soon, and especially on an aeroplane....

I'm surprised that we are allowing air travel at all. We should be adopting the Australian example and any flights that do land in Blighty should have to quarantine for 14 days no matter where they came from..
