Yes, you're right donkeyman.
Some people flog big things too, like holidays and cars etc, and I can't really disagree with that,. If I won a holiday abroad I wouldn't go either. But I do still think he might have advertised it elsewhere.
It does seem a little like he's rubbing their nose in it, don't you think?

Maybe next time there is a raffle on there, you enter and you might win.You could either give the camera to a ‘needy’ photographer, or sell it and give the money to charity.

If I won something and I didn't particularly want the prize, I would have probably done the same.The person concerned would have thought winning the competition itself was more important than winning the prize ..... he/she would still have entered even if there was no prize.
How anyone could say he was greedy is silly, he won, it belonged to him, he didn't want the prize or didn't need it so he offered it for sale to someone who did want it.
I can't see anything wrong in that at all
