Boris Johnson warns Russia US could strike Syria AGAIN

So is Boris right to get involved in the debate when we are not part of the conflict? (or are we?)

Hi

I do so wish Boris would keep his mouth shut.

Have we learnt nothing from Blair and Regime Change?

He's not just blurting any old thing out looks like he's warning them hoping to avoid sanctions for them.

He's a total and utter twit and an embarrassment.
Has he informed the Americans he's dishing out threats he expects them to live up to?

Re: Boris Johnson warns Russia US could strike Syria AGAIN

Hi

If Russia and the USA do get into a fight, then we will suffer.

The USA does not fight wars on it's own soil, it fights them elsewhere.

We could end up as piggy in the middle.

We are not known as America's biggest aircraft carrier for nothing.

If Boris wants to play hardman, stick him in a uniform and send him off to Syria to fight Assad.

On Squaddies pay rates of course.

Re: Boris Johnson warns Russia US could strike Syria AGAIN

It amuses me that there are so many ostensibly intelligent people in this country (if we stretch the term to include Boris) who labour under the misapprehension that we are still a major military power.

They, and all of us, must come to accept that we are not, and that the best thing we can do is to keep our noses well out of such things as this.

Yes, we are a member of NATO, and I understand that we have consequent responsibilities, but so are countries like Denmark, the Netherlands and even Germany. Do they go sticking their noses in here, there and everywhere?

No. Neither should we.

Best argument I've heard yet for ditching Trident modification!!!
