Re: What do you wear

I've got a lot of hoodies, most of my winter clothes have hoods. I have also woolly hats but got one which buttons under my chin. Also got a balaclava.
I do go to the Arctic for holidays in the winter.

Never wear hats, I canīt stand anything covering my head, well only my hair and I have enough of that.

Re: What do you wear

Being bald headed I wear a woolly hat in winter and a golfer's type hat in summer but only when we go walking in the countryside.

Re: What do you wear

Depends...

Is is wet or just cold? Is it very windy?
Am I just walking the dog or am I off to work..

I have a range of hats from the classic knitted beanie to the peaked barge hat or a sherlock holmes type fleece lined hat for the very cold days and several against the rain which I wear instead of using the hood on my coat because that hinders my hearing and vision when cycling.

In winter, I merely comb the hair growing on my back up and wrap it around my neck, like scarf. Softer than alpaca!

Re: What do you wear

Hi

I started losing my hair about 4 years ago, strange because my father and brothers were all bald in their twenties.

It does have it;s advantages as I can now tell that it is raining a few minutes earlier than I could previously

In winter I wear a beanie, a waterproof Thinsulate, in summer, because sunburn on the bald patch is horrible, I have a selection of Indiana Jones hats.

Unfortunately they do not make me look like Harrison Ford

Re: What do you wear

I've got a knitted one with ear flaps which seems to have gone missing since last winter. I treated myself to a rather stylish waterproof cloche type at the arboretum shop but, it doesn't keep my ears warm!
Better get knitting!

Re: What do you wear

I have various ear-flap type hats for hiking. For everyday use I have a finely knit synthetic beanie type.

MEG - Like many young women my daughter was reluctant to dress sensibly, but one Christmas I got her a Peruvian/Andean type hat. She thought it was wonderful, and has no problem wearing it
There are all sorts of colours & patterns available, just shop around

Re: What do you wear

I wear something similar to the second down on the left. I would never wear anything with a pompom!
