Before and After

My two little monsters went for haircuts this morning. They love the Spanish girl who does them and run off quite happily with her, she is really very good with them, they don't get at all stressed.

It sure is but they tend to get so knotty at skin level, it's impossible to keep brushed, the hair goes all matted like jumpers that have been washed too often, so at least twice a year the haircuts are very close. A couple of weeks and they will be just right, unfortunately they don't stay that way for very long. I should add that Muffin (white one) isn't really as bald as he looks on the photo, the lighting shines on him and makes him look pink!

It must be like us having all our clothes confiscated on a chilly day! Or the other end of the scale - does the little white one get sunburn?
I have 4 dogs, and 3 of them are a breed which do not moult, so they need clipping too. I have to bath and clip them about every 6 weeks or so, it's a real chore!

What a difference Loretta, they look like two different dogs after their haircut! I expect they feel a lot more comfortable in your Spanish heat though ...

Thank you all. They won't be feeling any breeze, there isn't any, it is so hot and humid it's untrue, the heat today has been really burning, not like October at all.

Bet they feel better for that, Duncan used to go really puppy like and all excited after a good chop, like the weight of the world was lifted from him !

Spot on Julie, they chase around like little greyhounds after they have been close clipped. It wouldn't normally be such a close one at this time of year, but it is still so hot here so no chance of them feeling chilly.
