This is going to sound silly, but could someone post something in here to see if I get the email notification of followup comments please? I don't care what you post (I wouldn't object to hot, naked men
) but I'm just wanting to see if my notification system is working again, since I chose instant notifications. I haven't posted much of anywhere else because since I don't get notified of replies anymore, I don't feel there's much point because I'll never remember where I posted.

I get the reason they did this, but I really wish they hadn't. Like MJK said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it

I've also noticed a decline in activity, even in active threads. I'm guessing some people aren't watching topics anymore because they're not receiving notifications.I hate to keep harping on this, but it's not like the notification system was buggy and invasive (receiving a notification for every single post made in a thread) because you'd get one notice and that was it until you visited the thread again.
Whatever the case, the notification system is NOT working (at least not for me) even though I've chosen to receive instant notices.
I know this is a long shot, but is it possible to just put things back the way they were before? Or fix the notification system so it works. I'm set up to receive notices and I'm not getting them anymore, ever since the initial turning off of notifications altogether.

Yes Linda, Azz has restored the e-mail facility and it's working like before. I think perhaps (Like Meg & Mags have suggested) there must be a box that needs ticking, keep trying, I'm sure it will come right in the end.....Good Luck.
