Sparks

Heard this in the 6Music festival over the weekend. Ridiculous lyrics from the Mael Brothers, still going and producing new music while over/nearly 70.

Sparks must be one of the most underrated bands ever. We hear their influence in so many other acts, their music and especially Russell Mael's amazing falsetto voice. A couple that immediately spring to mind is the singer Mika and Justin Hawkins from The Darkness.

Wow wonder what they were on when writing the lyrics but yes floydy I agree I always thought they influenced a lot of later singers.
