EastEnders cancelled

Filming and production of Eastenders has been halted, which means there’s a chance that the iconic soap could be off our screens in the near future. While it’s not known exactly how long this shutdown might last, the episodes are filmed roughly six to eight weeks in advance, so there’s still some time left before we might have to say our goodbyes to the soap. As the nation adjusts to the news that this iconic show could be off the air after 35 years, here’s why filming has stopped.

Not bothered, all the soaps seem to be more like crime dramas now, Eastenders was so depressing I gave up on it years ago.

Thank goodness for that. May they never bring it back.

Want Eastenders back though, I love the depressing story lines.
