Walter Presents... Before l Die on All4

Has anyone watched this Swedish crime series which is available on All4.
It is so petrifying in parts but so good. I had to close my eyes at times as it is so realistic.
I think the reason it seems so believable is that the acting is first class. The excellent cast isn’t made up of glamorous, pretty pretty lead roles. They all look like down to earth and believable characters.
They don’t wear expensive clothes and have ‘no hair out of place’ hairstyles. They wear scruffyish clothes and their hair looks unkempt at times.
For me all that plus the high quality acting put these foreign series above British and American series.

I watched series 2 of ‘Before l Die’ as Channel4 screened the first episode of 8 only. It concerns undercover police officers infiltrating a group called ‘The Circle’ which is made up mostly of crooked, violent police officers who deal and traffic drugs.

I have also downloaded series1 which l suppose l should have watched first.
They are both screened with English subtitles that l don’t find a problem.

Really, l should have watched the first series first but as l’d seen the first episode of series 2, l had to watch the rest.

When it was showing the scary, tense scenes, l had to tell myself it was just actors playing a part. It didn’t work as it is so realistic and the actors are so good.
