This is the first property purchased by the National Trust

first photo messy with sign board outside and a bit dark




To me this looks better after a bit of editing

I have never heard of a floor being made from milk and sand before - how unusual.

Thank you for the virtual tour - it is a lovely and very intriguing place. You might have shifted your under drawers off the mantle piece though!

Enjoyed the tour, thanks for that Realspeed. I love looking around old properties.

I was taken back in time when I saw the octagonal patchwork bedspread. Reminded me of one I did in the 70s.
