Re: Trying to turn £2 into £1000

So much good racing on today it’s hard to make up your mind, anyway I’ve settled for these five horses from across the board, 2 euros win on each, the only reason being that they all won for me before with the exception of ‘He’s a Bully’

Tom Sawyer. 5.30 Ripon.
He’s a Bully. 3.25, “
Scottish Glen. 5.35 Newmarket.
Brave Spartacus. 4.55 “
English Summer. 5.05 Haydock.

If I don't get anything back from one of these bets I'm off to the poorhouse on Monday morning.

Re: Trying to turn £2 into £1000

Never been a gambler never had money to spare, but yes I have hobbies - spend about £3 or £4 per week on wool or fabrics and thread. At the end of the day though I have something to show for it as I have knitted or sewn something useful or decorative. On holiday I knitted a phone cover for £1 and a kindle cover for £2 and a scarf for £5 all useful and unique. Now started on a cardigan will cost about £20 - yes I could buy one cheaper but mine will be unique and just what I want not what the manufacturers tell me I want.

Gambling not my thing at all because you get nothing useful out of it. IMO.

Much happier surrounded by fluffy wools and knitting needles.
