Yes, I think there are some useless therapists Billy, and I have met some, but I consider myself blessed with the lovely lady that helps me now and has done for a long time.
There are also bad doctors too. I had a consultant and a GP arguing over me last year - one put me on medication that the other one said I should never have been given. Then one thought I had 'steroid induced diabetes' and the other one thought I hadn't. It was only when I insisted the obvious (have a flippin' test) that they saw I didn't have diabetes at all, thank god! I was very angry and told them that while the two "professionals" were arguing, I was fed up being 'pig in the middle'.

Re: Sciatica

You know they say that doctors put mnemonics on patients' notes, such as NFN - Normal for Norfolk, or GROLLIE - something about a Guardian reader of limited intellect? Well, mine should be TADAM - thinks all doctors are morons!

The pain isn't too bad at present, I've been taking the dog for short but hilly walks, but I am taking Tramadol daily, so need to be thinking about weaning myself off them. If this steroid injection doesn't work I'll definitely chase up the spinal specialist for a more permanent solution.

Re: Sciatica

Good luck Trixie, what ever you choose, I hope you feel better soon, pain is so debilitating.
