Re: Eurovision

I had two favourites, Austria and Israel, so I was pleased with the result.

I didn't think much of the new voting system, it seemed to go on forever...

Re: Eurovision

I kept flicking back to BBC to hear the odd song, and many of them were nice songs..... but I hate all the hype! Four female presenters that talked like pre-programmed robots. One lady presenter, walking round the green room which was full of over excited contestants. I was so bored that I switched off and went to sleep before the voting.

I am glad that they put it on TV for those who enjoy it.....but why don't some of the other channels put something interesting on, to entertain those who don't like it? I spent some of Saturday evening doing household chores, because it was more entertaining than TV

Re: Eurovision

I've never watched it. My daughter admitted to watching it so she could take the mick out of it on FBook

Re: Eurovision

Goodness knows why that stupid contest, which goes from very bad to even worse, wasn't ditched many years ago.

My husband who likes classical music wouldn't have our TV screen polluted by it.

Your husband is entitled to have what he likes on his TV Tara, but so are others and some people like the Eurovision!

Re: Eurovision

Once we're out of the EU, with any luck it will mean the end of our membership of the European Broadcasting Union too, so bye, bye Eurovision Song Contest - and good Riddance!!!
