Tattyfilarious Thursday

Good morning everyone

It is the sort of day when I could jump in the air, wave my arms about and sing at the top of my voice, but I wont, people think I am mad as it is.

I will just sit quietly in front of the fire and read a book until 'she who must be obeyed' tells me to move so that she can vacuum.

Have a wonderful day and whatever you do do it with Gusto, he needs the company.

Re: Tattyfilarious Thursday

Good Morning Antibrown and everyone else. I had my visit to my doctor's head nurse to get my blood pressure checked. All is well at 140/84 although they'd like to see that bottom number under 80. I reminded her that when I started my blood pressure treatment I was in the hospital ICU with congestive heart failure and a blood pressure of 250/150. That's near dead. I've lost 20 pounds since I stopped working so I think I'm doing pretty good. I started my attack on weight at 310 pounds and now weigh 260. I tell my friends my goal is to weigh less than 1/8th of a ton and they all laugh. I'm 61 and have been over 200 pounds since age 10. Anyway I'm still ticking as they say "Only The Good Die Young".

Morning AB, BM et al, hard frost overnight here in Sherwood but the forest is all the more beautiful for it. The hound and I have done our morning walk and I am enjoying my steaming mug of coffee prior to chopping some firewood for later.
Good on yer Bob for looking after yourself, I too have been a heavyweight all of my life, but as they say in England, "Never mind the quality, just feel the width" Ha Ha

Good Morning AB, Bob, PM and Everyone. Hope you all enjoy your day whatever you do.

Well done Bob - you are doing well.

Watch you don't get a wee skelf, PM, whilst chopping wood! I used to when I was a wee girl and had to chop sticks to start the fire in the grate and then the fireplace!!

Hope the weather is better. It turned to snow up here yesterday but then back to heavy rain, thankfully!! Hope we have our usual Scottish rain from now on

Take care and stay safe.

Quite a hard frost here as well this morning, but a very good day for a brisk walk with the dogs. Did you know it is said that dogs and other animals help keep the BP down (but perhaps it is all the walking).

Hi! to everyone

It's a miserable wet day here and I'm feeling one degree under for some reason - hopefully I can shake it off as the day goes on.

Love the title of today's thread, a certain vision of you comes to mind, AB ......

Well done Bob on looking after your health

Hi all! Still normally chilly, 0 C (32 F) this morning, , may make to 6 C by afternoon; sun now, snow flurries tomorrow, hopefully nothing worse. Grocery delivery today so no need to go out in the cold!

Bob, you're doing well!

Re: Tattyfilarious Thursday

Good evening all-hope you've had a good day. Been missing for a few days-have been in Derbyshire. My SIL's dad sadly died last Sunday, so went to visit and help in any way I could.

Catching up with myself today, trying to get back into some sort of routine again, walking shopping and household chores..............
