You might be right Mups. Strange I can't remember because I only went to my friend's funeral on the 16th of this month. I don't think there was music playing on the way in. I'll have to find out more when in the mood.
Maybe it's a good job I sorted out the three that I have done.
My daughter's FIL died 3 years ago and when we arrived for his funeral we were greeted with Lonnie Donegan's "Tom Dooley". It made everyone smile as it was a very apt choice - he was well known for taking his guitar with him to every family get-together and the first song he played every time was "Tom Dooley". It was also used as his exit song.

If two tunes/songs are the norm, I'd probably go for 'Aria' by Acker Bilk on the way in and 'Somewhere In Time' for on the way out.
