Take note.

If there is one thing that infuriates me it's dog owners who either don't pick up the mess left by their dog or they bag it up and leave it, either swinging in a tree or lying by the side of a path. No one wants to see this kind of thing when out walking.
Some one decided to do some thing about it and put notes on the bags, telling the owner of the bags exactly what they thought of them. Just in case you can't read the note it says. "Dumped by a lazy, dirty, selfish idiot"
Well done that man or woman.

Re: Take note.

I'm a devoted dog owner and it annoys me too ! I pick up all my dogs do and bin it properly - even bring it home if I can't find a bin. No excuse for it really there isn't

Re: Take note.

What's the point of writing a note on the bag? Surely they're not expecting the bag owner to return and read it?

Re: Take note.

Yes, other people might frequent the place, but the actual person who chucked the bag isn't going to be bothered, or go up to his bag and read a sarky note is he/she? They're louts, same as the scum who throw tin cans and takeaway boxes from cars.

Lots of people walk their dogs around there and if it makes some think twice about leaving the their dogs mess behind then it will have done some good. It may even make them think they are being watched and maybe fined.
The person had left the same note on quite a few discarded bag.

Re: Take note.

No idea how it is dealt with in the rest of the UK but here in Wales in areas which are particularly popular with dog walkers, there are bins attached to lamp posts/telegraph posts etc which are specifically for bagged dog waste and which are frequently emptied by Council workers.

Re: Take note.

It's very much down to individual councils, ours isn't too bad but I have visited areas where they are few and far between.
