Ah but I heard somewhere that that description is really about Hob Knobs who are, reputedly, the Marines of dunking biscuits and I would like to see myself as that but I'd probably be more of a Nice biscuit in the dunking department

Also the peanutbutter kitkats ..... Better than sex....
Galaxy caramel has a rival

I would have to be a digestive: practical, hard-working, satisfying and although plain on first appearance - can be dressed up very nicely for any occasion

Karen darlin' - as it happens I quite like sprouts, - Iceland used to do packets of them mixed with sweet chestnuts, something else I like. However all brassicas are now banned too because of the Warfarin.

You like sprouts you are a hardly fellow Uncle Joe

That warfarin is putting a fair few things you like on a hit list isn't it. I have a friend who has MS and Crohns (from the age of 21 and 18 respectively) and the things she can't eat is ubelievable and she's one of the happiest people I know! Oh to have her strength of character and resolve ...

Oh I see - poor you Uncle Joe, wish I could offer help but I know zilch about diabetes, I've never really known anyone who has it (other than my Nan but she died when I was 12 so I don't really remember much about her food regime - she did have diabetic chocolates though!)

Karen darlin' - there are two types of Diabetes - those who are Insulin dependent (and need to inject Insulin daily) - Type 1.

Type 2 Diabetics are those (like me) who have over-indulged in sugary foods and now need to rein in on them - hence the elimination of sweets, biscuits, cakes and chocolate from our diet.
